Arrests Made in Bomb Threat Case

Police say two 14-year-old students at Grand Junction High School are under arrest for calling in the bomb threat at the high school on November 25th. The boys are facing charges including false reporting of an explosive device, a class six felony, and interfering with an educational facility.

The bomb threat last Tuesday caused the school to be evacuated and classes were canceled for the rest of the day. Police say they would like to thank students for coming forward with information and enabling them to make arrests.

I hope they find these two 14 year old students guilty and show the rest of the students that these kind of acts have conscience. Maybe seeing these boys go to jail and having to pay a large fine (if proven guilty) will deterrent others from doing the same or similar acts of mischief.
