Grand Junction Police have opened a criminal investigation into two people found injured in seperate apartments on Bookcliff Avenue.
Detectives were on-scene early Friday night after getting an emergency call from one of the Monterey Park senior apartments.
An injured person knocked on the door and asked the owner to call 911 for help.
When police arrived, they found that person and another in a neighboring apartment.
Police have not released who was hurt or the extent of the injuries only that it is a criminal investigation.
