The Junior Service League of Grand Junction is asking local non–profits to apply for a grant.
The Community Giving program of the JSL supports non profits and this year has been dubbed the "year of the child". The league is asking that non–profits whose services benefit children apply for the grant. This includes non profits that work with children through art, education, recreation and family issues. The JSL says this is important because the children are our future.
December 31st is the deadline to apply for a grant. Last year JSL awarded more than $50,000 in grants. Grant applications are available online at www.jslgj.com under Grant Information.
