A man accused of robbing the Wal–Mart on Rim Rock drive and then hitting an employee with his car while trying to get away has been caught.
Police have arrested 30-year-old Jarrod Steven Phillips–Arnett. According to an arrest affidavit, Phillips–Arnett and three other people stole four flat screens TVs from Wal–Mart on may 19th. A greeter at Wal–Mart tried to stop them but was hit by the get–a–way car. He was able to recover one of the TVs.
The affidavit says Phillips–Arnett pawned one of the TVs and sold the other two to his drug dealer. He's facing several felony charges including theft charges and second degree assault. He's being held at the mesa county jail on a $75,000 bond.
