The Grand Junction Visitor and convention Bureau has had quite a holiday season, dealing with a rash of four burglaries. Now, a young man is behind bars.
The damage totaling in the thousands, the 18-year-old suspect Cameron Tallent is accused of stealing a cash register, priceless artifacts and heirlooms and a large high-definition television.
He still remains behind bars at the Mesa County Jail awaiting a court hearing.
The Bureau may be able to retrieve some of their stolen goods, including their big-screen TV, but their cash register and some other items were unfortunately found on the bottom of a canal.
