Liquor License Denied for Riviera, former Rum Bay

The Riviera; formerly Rum Bay a problem ridden nightspot in Grand Junction was denied a temporary liquor license Monday.

Mesa County Commissioners denied a request for a transfer of ownership application for a Tavern Liquor License for Spencer Trevino, LLC. The commissioners denied the temporary permit because the applicants were not able to obtain a lease on the property.

The owner of the property is looking for other buyers.
