With more storms heading in this week, the Colorado national monument has a warning for motorists - Rim Rock Drive is icy.
Officials recommend that drivers don’t use the top of Rim Rock Drive between D-S road and the visitor center, because they won’t be plowing it while it’s snowing.
However they are plowing the east side of Rim Rock road between the monument entrance and d-s road.
They are also plowing the west hill, between the entrance and the visitor center.
Once storms subside and conditions permit, the staff will plow the length of Rim Rock drive.
