One local high school senior says he's thankful to both Senator Ken Salazar and his brother Congressman John Salazar this holiday for nominating him for a US Service Academy.
Jordan Potterton is headed to Colorado Springs this coming fall to join his sister in the Air Force Academy. Potterton is one of two students nominated on the western slope. All together Senator Salazar picked 40 seniors from a pool of 300.
