Red Cross Donations Down

The Red Cross is another organization that's feeling the wrath of the economy, its seasonal donations are down 25% from this time last year.

The Western Colorado Chapter has Christmas trees set up at Mesa Mall where people can make donations. Red Cross is funded solely by donations and it depends on the community to help.

The Red Cross says it's in desperate need for used vehicles to pull disaster relief trailers; right now there is just one old suburban that they say is just not reliable.

    When I try to play the Red Cross story the Toys for Tots story comes up!
