City elections are coming up in just a couple of months and another council member has announced her plans.

Teresa Coons tells 11 News she will run again in District E.

Last month, Doug Thomason and Jim Doody announced they would not run again in the April election. Their seats in District A and an at–large seat will be up for grabs.

We were unable to reach Bonnie Beckstein on Friday but she's been quoted in a recent publication saying she will run again.

HOW TO RUN

If you'd like to make a bid for one of the open seats here's what you need to do.

You have to be atleast 18 years old and have to have lived in the district you're running for 12 consecutive months.

You can pick up paperwork at the city clerk's office including a petition needing atleast 50 valid signatures.

You can pick up a packet starting Tuesday, January 6th and the paperwork is due by January 26th.

The municipal election is on April 7th.
