The Grand Junction Police Department is asking for your help to track down whoever caused thousands of dollars in damage to a local park.

Police say sometime overnight between December 15th and December 16th, someone intentionally drove their vehicle across Melrose Park hitting a fire hydrant, concrete park bench and a park sign. Officials say the vandal caused more than $6,500 in damage to the park.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the anonymous crime stoppers tip line at 241–STOP.
