Man Struck By Concrete, Doesn't Remember Drive to Junction

A man is trying to remember what happened after he was hit in the head by a two pound chunk of concrete while driving on I-70 Monday.

Officials say just before 2:00 p.m., the man called 911 saying he thought he had been shot in the head.

Officials found the man pulled over near mile marker 147 and determined that a piece of concrete had smashed through the driver's side window and hit him in the head.

the driver last remembers being at a truck stop in Utah, however his log book shows he had lunch in Grand Junction later but he doesn't remember.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Eagle County Crime Stoppers at 970-328-7007.
