A man is trying to remember what happened after he was hit in the head by a two pound chunk of concrete while driving on I-70 Monday.

Officials say just before 2:00 p.m., the man called 911 saying he thought he had been shot in the head.

Officials found the man pulled over near mile marker 147 and determined that a piece of concrete had smashed through the driver's side window and hit him in the head.

the driver last remembers being at a truck stop in Utah, however his log book shows he had lunch in Grand Junction later but he doesn't remember.
