Two people have been arrested after a Thursday night mugging.

25-year-old Shemile Adams and 22-year-old Benjamin Barovier are in Mesa County Jail facing charges of aggravated robbery, theft, second degree assault, identity theft and conspiracy. They are accused of robbing someone at the Horizon Drive Comfort Inn. Officials say the victim was robbed of their wallet and then struck with a baton. The suspect fled in an awaiting vehicle.

The victim was able to provide a description of the suspect, leading to the arrest.
