The Division of Wildlife is extending the time period they'll take public comment on a conservation plan that aims to keep two species of prairie dogs in the state. Once the plan is finalized it will help keep two species of prairie dogs off the endangered species lists.
You can submit comments on the "Colorado Gunnison's and White Tailed Prarie Dog Conservation Plan” through the middle of February.
