Over the holiday season the blue star mothers shipped more than 150 care packages to troops around the world, but just because Christmas is over does not mean the need is gone...
That's why the group created an online wish list to make it easier for people who want to help. The webpage is full of items needed for three different projects, such as care packages for the troops overseas, hero packages for the kids of troops, and veteran packages for our local vets.
According to Wendy Haoffman with Blue Star Mothers, "The importance of it is just showing them that we are there, we are behind them and we are not going to let them down."
If you would like to help, just head over to their website at http://www.dollardays.com/bluestarmothers/wishlist.html.
