For many high school students making plans for college is a difficult process. That's why School District 51 is hosting College 101 nights like this one at Grand Junction High School.
It's for seniors and juniors to give them a chance to learn more about college options. Speakers talked about, how to compare colleges, and ways to pay for college. There were also a number of breakout sessions, on military options, spanish speaking help on financial planning, and a panel of parents of college students.
“It helps you find some other option of ways you can pay for it instead of having to work 2 or 3 jobs throughout college,” says Andrew Duff
There will be another meeting tomorrow night at Central High School starting at 6:15 in the evening.
