One person was sent to the hospital early this morning after being thrown from his vehicle.
The accident happened around 2:30 Friday morning. According to Grand Junction Police, a male driver was travelling west bound on Redlands Parkway in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
He lost control when going around a curve, rolled into a small ditch and was ejected from the car.
Police found the man lying in the roadway. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for a head injury.
Redlands Parkway was shut down for a little over an hour.
