Martin Luther King Junior Day falls on the eve of Barack Obama's inauguration and many say that just makes it all the more special.

Mesa State College and the city of Grand Junction are teaming up to honor King tomorrow. The celebration begins tomorrow night at 5 O'clock with a march beginning near the Moss Performing Arts Center on the Mesa State Campus.
Then performances of music and dance follow from six to seven in the Mesa Experimental Theater. To cap off the night of remembrance, a seven year old boy adopted from Uganda will sing "Oh Happy Day".
