After spending years tucked away in a middle school, Mesa County Library officials say they're happy the residents of Orchard Mesa now have a bigger, better library.

Saturday, they celebrated the grand opening of the new Orchard Mesa Library. Library staff say in addition to having more room, the new library also has more computers, a bigger children's area, wireless Internet capabilities, and better hours. They say today's turnout was better than expected and they're confident the community will continue to pack the building in the coming years.
