Not all businesses in Grand Junction are tightening their belts, Leitner–Poma of America plans to add 100 jobs in the next five years.
The ski life manufacturer held a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday afternoon to show off its new building and announce the plans.
The company says even though the economy has slowed down, it believes the new facility is an investment in future booms.
Lietner–Poma has built around 75 percent of Colorado ski resort's lifts and equipment. The company has been in Grand Junction since 1981.
