Driving in slick, icy, snowy conditions can be scary, stressful, and disastrous if you don't know what you're doing?
But there is a way to prepare and protect yourself, by learning the right and wrong way to handle winter roads.
So how do you practice winter driving without actually going out on the roads?
We found the answer at the Bridgestone Winter Driving School in Steamboat Springs.
In this two part series, 11 News Reporter Chiara Lotierzo took to the icy twists and turns to show us how the school works, and to learn a few things for herself.
And if you can't make it up to Steamboat Springs to take the class, check out www.winterdrive.com for information about a 24-minute long DVD class.
