Colorado State Patrol is looking for the driver of a semi truck they say may have accidentally run a teenage mother and her baby off the road today.
It happened around noon today on interstate 70 near Debeque Canyon.
Troopers say a 16-year-old girl was driving with her two month old baby in the car when a red auto transport being pulled by the semi crossed into her lane. The young mother went off the road and rolled her car trying to avoid the truck.
Both mother and baby were taken to the hospital with what appear to be minor injuries.
The driver of the truck could face careless driving charges or be ticketed for failing to change lanes in a safe manner.
The mother was cited for driving without a license.
