Grand Junction Mayor Gregg Palmer's interview for CNBC, which was scheduled for Wednesday morning, has been bumped in favor of live coverage of the Bernie Madoff hearing.

Palmer was to have appeared on the cable and satellite television network's ``Squawk on the Street'' program to discuss how our community is surviving – or thriving – during the recession.

Palmer's segment has been rescheduled for February 9 shortly after 9:00 a.m.
