The Colorado State Patrol says speed and bad tires were to blame for a seven car pile up that killed a man last month.
In a newly released crash report, investigators say 50–year–old Enrique Simental lost control of his truck and spun out because he was going fast and his tires had little tread.
Troopers say his passenger 43–year–old Efrain Holguin–Cervantes was hit by a car and killed when he got out of the truck.
Cars driving through did not see the accident in time and there were two more crashes in the same area.
Troopers ticketed the driver of the truck for careless driving and say he is the only driver who will face charges.
