A judge has ruled in favor of prosecutors in the preliminary hearing for a woman accused of sexually assaulting little girls.
46–year–old Maria Kennedy is behind bars charged with nine counts of sexual assault on a child.
In her preliminary hearing, a judge ruled there is enough evidence for the case to move forward.
According to an arrest affidavit, Kennedy forced three little girls to perform sexual acts on her.
She's being held in the Mesa County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
She's expected to enter a plea next week.
