Bomb Threat Clears Courthouse

A bomb threat cleared out the Garfield County courthouse Thursday afternoon. The Glenwood Springs Police Department says the courthouse took a call from a man saying there was a bomb in the building just after two o'clock.

The courthouse was evacuated and bomb sniffing dogs were brought in; nothing suspicious was found. If you have any information about this crime you are urged to call the Garfield County Crime Stoppers at 970–945–0101.
