State officials say Mesa County will start seeing some of those federal stimulus dollars put into action soon.
On Friday, the Colorado Transportation Commission released a list of approved, ready to go highway projects that will be funded by the 317 million c-dot received from the recovery plan.
Three projects in the Grand Valley were given the green light.
$1.8 million for improvements to the palisade interchange along Interstate 70.
$2.1 million for new traffic signals on highway 340 in Fruita...
$9 million for adding new lanes to highway 6 & 50 between 24 and 25 roads.
C-dot will begin taking bids this summer for the Fruita and Palisade projects and next spring for the Highway 6 & 50 project.
