Three teenagers were arrested for arson and criminal mischief after police say they lit paper on fire at a Grand Junction park and then left it to burn.

The incident happened at West Lake Park Monday afternoon. An officer found the pile of papers on fire and the kids not too far away. The fire caused more than a thousand dollars in damage to the park slide.
