Largest Heroin Bust in GJ History: Street Value Estimated at $2 Million

The Mesa County Drug Task Force has arrested a woman at the Downtown Greyhound Bus Station after a check of her luggage found nearly 17 pounds of heroin.

HEROIN FOUND IN BUS LUGGAGE
One woman arrested for suitcase full of drug

MESA COUNTY, CO – Yesterday around 4 p.m. officers with the Drug Task Force conducted a luggage check at the downtown Greyhound bus station.

Officers found nearly 17 pounds of heroin in a modified suitcase.

The street value for that quantity of heroin is estimated to be over $2
million and this is believed to be the largest heroin bust in Mesa County
history.

One woman was arrested in connection with the drugs. Diana Severiano-Bojorquez, 38, claims to be from Mexico and was traveling to New York state from California.

Severiano-Bojorquez is currently being held in the Mesa County Detention Facility on charges related to the drugs and an immigration hold. She currently does not have a bond amount.
