A man who was stabbed several times in his side and back in January is now under arrest in connection to that incident.
Mesa County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 20–year–old Julio Herrera Wednesday night on two counts of the unlawful use of narcotics. The Sheriff's Office says that Herrera tested positive for having cocaine in his system the night he was stabbed in an Orchard Mesa park.
Herrera is currently being held in the Mesa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
