An update to a story we brought you here first and only on 11 News--
a woman who is super gluing her teeth because she can't afford dental work has an offer to get the work done for free.

September Williamson told 11 News last week she has insurance but it only covers $1,000 a year. The dentures she needs would cost $8,500.

After her story aired on 11 News, we got dozens of calls and emails from dentists across the country.

Williamson is looking at accepting one of those offers.

She says even though she's thankful, she's not the only one who is underinsured and needs help.

"I'm greatful for the help that I've been offered but iI also know that there are so many people out there that need the help. That's why I wanted the issue brought up because there are so many people and it's just not fair," Williamson told 11 News on Monday.

We will keep you updated on September's progress.

The purpose of the story was to spot light a real problem with Dental insurance. Did she get help because of being brave enough to tell the story ? Yes, and it was well deserved. Her intentions were pure and the story she was trying to tell was all of yours not hers alone. There is NO ONE human on this planet that has the right to judge someone you do not know from Eve. Another issues September has brought to light (indirectly)..just how jaded & bitter society has become. You would think being happy for someone after knowing first hand what it is to feel or hurt that way, would be easy. I Guess not.

Hi my name is Misty and I know what you are going through I have had 4 children and my body just has not produced the stuff my teeth has need to be strong. I as well have lost several teeth. I always hoped that one day I would be able to smile again to but I have come to find out that it has been lost. My kids have not seen me smile in 4 years and the depression and hurt has taken over cuz I don't even look in the mirror anymore because I hate what I see. Today appearance is everything and I haven't even been able to get a job. They like everything about me until they have to see me in person and realize I don't have no teeth but what they don't realize is who you really are. It makes me angry and hurt to know the judgement is there and literly all you want to do is cry and believe me I do my fair share inside and out. 2 Years ago I thought I had found a dentist that was willing to help me and let me make payments, but I soon found out exactly how much more damage was done. Best Wishes

I'm happy for September. I have had teeth problems worse. Bone loss, supergluing my front crowns on for years. 6 year breast cancer survivor. My husband just got laid off from Western Colorado Truck Center after 23 years of dedicated service. But, hey, I only need 2000 dollars for upper false teeth. I only have 7 teeth left on my upper mouth. I do a 5 step cleaning every day, and pay out of pocket every 6 months to have my teeth cleaned by Dr. Weenig. I have prayed for help for 10 years for my mouth pain, and there is nothing for me.Dental work is too expensive. So I was surprised to hear there was someone else out there, supergluing their teeth together. Thought I was the only one. It is so embarrasing, I don't ever smile anymore. September's teeth looked great compared to what I look like. Lucky lady, I hope someone gives her a great smile she will love.
