With guns drawn nearly a dozen police officers surrounded an apartment on Orchard Avenue early Sunday morning.
Police got three calls from folks saying shots had been fired, so they suited up and surrounded an apartment at 2828 Orchard Avenue. The Grand Junction Fire Department was also called out on stand by in case anyone was injured.
Police say a search of the area found no evidence that shots had actually been fired. Officers say while there was a lot of man power on scene it's better to be safe than sorry and they take every call seriously.
