The people's choice award for art on the corner is in, and the "Flutter–Bye" butterfly takes home the crown...
The eight foot tall giant butterfly on Main Street was voted best in show for the Art on the Corner project.
This is the second year in a row that artist Terry Burnett has won this award.
Last year he won for the large fiberglass fish named "Wooshie".
The People's Choice Award is selected each year through the public voting process and people submit their favorite sculptures via telephone or mail.
The Art on the Corner program is administered by the Downtown Development Authority and has been the catalyst for many similar exhibits nationwide.
