Grand Junction Police were called out to the Pizza Hut on North Avenue around 2:30 this morning on reports of a burglary.
When 11News arrived on scene police had the building surrounded with their guns drawn because they believed a burglar was still inside.
Glass was broken on the door on the west side of the building.
Police waited for a person with a key to arrive before they entered.
When they got inside they didn't find anyone and it is not known at this point if anything was taken. The case is under investigation.
