The White House is apologizing for comments made by President Obama on the Tonight Show.
On Thursday night's show, the President and Jay Leno were talking about Obama's bowling ability, when Mr. Obama said, quote, "It's like the Special Olympics or something."
In a statement the White House said Obama thinks the Special Olympics are a wonderful program and that he did not intend to disparage them.
Obama's appearance on the Tonight Show was the first ever for a sitting president.
