One simple test may answer some questions you may have about man

My name is Rusty and I am a rust colored basset hound mix. The kind folks here at the Humane Society rescued me from another facility. While checking me over they did daggone test to me and said I needed to have a heartworm treatment done. Man oh man now I gotta come up with $200 so I am able to go to a new home. Can you help an ole country dog out?

One simple test may answer some questions you may have about man's best friend.
A doggie DNA test called Wisdom Panel takes a blood sample from your mutt and then breaks down exactly what breeds he or she is made up of.
Veterinarians say this can be useful if you are concerned about a certain breed's temperament or what illnesses they are prone to.
The blood test is 95 percent accurate and costs about $130. Results are returned in about two weeks.
