A Delta County couple has been sentenced for their role in bar fight that left a man permanently disabled.
On August 12 last year Jim Lord was nearly beaten to death outside of Thomas Waldo's Tavern in Paonia.
Lord was working as bar security when he was attacked.
His wife was also assaulted.
With the help of our friends at the Montrose Daily Press, 11 News has learned that Brent Rupe and his wife Natalie Rupe have now been sentenced in the case.
Brent will spend 30 days in jail and five years on probation for assaulting Lord while Natalie will spend five days in jail and two years on probation for attacking Lord's wife.
