Volunteers are standing by to take renewing and new KAFM membership calls. Any donation is appreciated and KAFM has special 'thank you' gifts for members, including KAFM swag and tickets to the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.
The Fund Drive finishes with a free concert at the KAFM studio on Saturday night at 5 p.m. Simmer Down will perform and officials say the event is open to all KAFM members and anyone who comes to the concert with a donation to become a member. A BBQ is also planned for Saturday evening.
To donate, call KAFM at 241-8801. KAFM is located at 1310 Ute Avenue. Visit them online at www.kafmradio.org. This is KAFM's 10th year on the air.
