Ballots for next month's city election were sent out and hundreds of them were sent back... empty.
The Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's Office says it's a combination of things, people not updating their address, or being away for the winter season on the rocky Mountain slopes.
3500 ballots are in and more than half are blank.
28,000 ballots were sent out last week, and of the voters sending their's in about a third were returned from the post office, never getting to where they were supposed to go.
Some registered voters may be wondering where their ballots are, and
if yours hasn't reached the mailbox just yet, contact the elections office and tell them your situation.
