Statistics show a quarter of the more than 23 million Americans who have diabetes in America don't know it.
The Oaks in Fruita is hosting a free Awareness Day tomorrow, march 28 from 2 - 4 p.m. The event features health screenings, dietary tips, recipes, cooking demonstrations, fitness consultations, classes, food, experts to answer questions and more.
