The Associated Student Government of Mesa State College will host its second annual Remembrance tomorrow in recognition of students who have lost their lives in recent years.
The Remembrance will be Saturday, March 28, at 6 p.m. on the east side of Grand Mesa Hall, 1400 Houston Ave.
Officials say the deceased students to be remembered are Jennifer Kois, Jake Brock, Christine Sterling-Soffel, Heather Jay and Samantha Loy. Organizers have invited family and friends of the students to speak at the ceremony, which they say will include a balloon release with balloons in the deceased students’ favorite colors.
A candlelight vigil will follow the ceremony.
