Grand Valley Transit is re–thinking a proposed transfer station near Mesa Mall.
The decision comes after community input indicated residents disliked the idea and suggested finding another location.
The more than 100 residents who attended an open house for the project say they believe the Mesa Mall site would increase traffic congestion, would be un–safe for motorists and bus passengers, and dislike the expenses associated with removing the existing GVT infrastructure.
GVT authorities say they're glad people responded to the project and are looking for better, alternative, locations.
