A new Grand Junction business it wants to help parents in the Valley keep their kids off drugs.

All-Test LLC just opened its office near the corner of 9th Street and North Avenue.

The business offers in-home drug test kits for parents and a new spray & wipe technology that will detect drug residues on their teens' things.

The owners say their goal is to get parents more involved in their kids lives and stop teen drug use early on before they turn to more dangerous drugs like meth.

Even though many in the Valley are experiencing the economic downturn, they say they couldn't think of a better time to launch their business.

"In hard economic times, drug and alcohol usage tends to go up," said Troy Sievers, owner of All-Test LLC. "So I think our business will do well. It's a good way to really try to keep a lid on things."

As part of the process, All-Test provides alcohol and drug education services for families.

All-Test also does drug screenings and background checks for businesses and DNA paternity tests.
