With major league baseball now in full swing two men in the Grand Valley plan on showing their love for the game in a different way. For Chris Rockert and Kent Cronkhite the sport has turned into a business...
and that business is making baseball bats.

They met while playing baseball and have now been making bats together for a few years. Until recently their passion was used to support their own personal hobby. Now they plan to make it a full time business and have some major league goals. "Our goal is to be one of the bigger bat companies in the U.S. and to supply the major league, but of course we're not there yet." says co-owner Rockert.

They already have several bats in circulation at several local high schools and adult leagues and they are working on demo bats to sell in local stores. They're also working on a web–site were you can view their full line and purchase a bat of your own. For more information on their company or how you can get a bat of your own, you can e-mail Chris and Kent at apostlebats@live.com or call Chris at (970) 201-3527 or Kent at (970) 812-6220
