A man who ran from authorities for more than a decade will serve six years in community corrections.
According to investigators, 76-year-old Edward Earl Glaze sexually assaulted a young boy and offered another $20 in return for a sexual encounter.
Glaze was supposed to go to trial in 1997 but vanished.
He was caught trying to cross the border into the U.S. from Canada last year.
Glaze pled guilty to sexual assault on a child and enticement of a child.
The judge sentenced him to 12 years in the Department of Corrections but he won't have to serve that time if he completes his community correction sentence with no problems.
