Mesa Land Trust Now Accredited

The Mesa Land Trust officially joined the ranks of just 53 other nationally accredited conservation trusts.

Mesa Land Trust works with land owners to conserve agricultural, wildlife and natural scenic lands here in Mesa County.

"To get accredited was a rigorous process so we had to look at all of our procedures and how we conduct business. We did make some changes so we are operating more efficiently now. And it means that we can continue on our work and build on the success we've had over the last two decades," says, Rob Bleiberg, the executive director for the Mesa Land Trust.

So far the Mesa Land Trust has preserved more than 53,000 acres of land in Mesa County.
