A woman and a young boy were sent to the hospital after their car flipped into a ditch just before midnight Thursday.
According to State Patrol a woman was driving up Kannah Creek road when she failed to make a turn and flipped her car off the side of the road.
A 7-year-old boy that was riding in a booster seat in the back was thrown to the front of the car.
Troopers say the boy told them he had unbuckled himself just before the accident.
The woman and the boy were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
She was cited for careless driving and improper use of a car seat.
