A crew transporting a house misjudged how tall it was and nearly took out a traffic light in Clifton.

It happened on F Road just after 10:30am Tuesday.

The Colorado State Patrol says the driver tried to drive the oversized load under the stoplight and the top of the house caught the traffic lights in front of Clifton Elementary, bending the lights.

Troopers say the truck was allowed to take the route and they did not ticket the driver.
