Operation Interdependence is hosting a packing party Tuesday night to put together boxes for soldiers serving overseas.
The group assembles the boxes every month for different platoons in different branches of the military.
Organizers say they've seen a drop in donations because of the economy so it's working even harder to keep the care packages going.
They say they try to send ten to 25 boxes a month but even one makes a big difference and they've gotten letters of appreciation from the troops.
"It's really good. It gives us all a little boost and makes us realize that they do appreciate what we're doing for them and it also lets them know we appreciate what they're doing for us," Karon Carley told 11 News on Tuesday.
The packing party starts Tuesday at 7pm at the Ute Business Center at 1600 Ute Avenue, Suite 108.
