A group of grand valley residents and business owners returned from their trip to China today. The group was escorted by the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce and spent ten days in China trying to get to know the people and the industry of the country. They visited the Foreign Trade Zone and had one on one interviews with Chinese business executives.
Diane Schwenke, president of the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce says, "overall it was a very good experience for us and probably some of the best experiences we had were being able to interact with some of the people." This was the first trip planned by the chamber and because it was such a great success they plan on doing more trips like this in the future.
